Quality Matters at VPT Rad

At VPT Rad, we ensure that our services meet your mission requirements from start to finish. As a DLA approved test laboratory, our testing is MIL-STD compliant. Our automated test equipment (ATE) systems and custom test solutions are calibrated yearly to maintain the highest degree of measurement accuracy. In addition to our test equipment, VPT Rad maintains comprehensive dose maps for each of our irradiators. We use NIST traceable alanine dosimeters and a Bruker alanine-EPR dosimetry system for our dose maps, and dosimetry reports provided to customers for every project. Our dosimetry reports are industry leading with uncertainty within 3%.

Our services span test planning, execution, data analysis, and formal reporting, with controlled irradiation scheduling to support efficient program timelines. VPT Rad performs Radiation Lot Acceptance Testing (RLAT) to evaluate device performance degradation due to ionizing radiation, using incremental Cobalt-60 gamma exposures with pre- and post-irradiation electrical characterization.

We also offer expedited radiation tolerance and radiation hardness testing for discrete, analog, digital, and mixed-signal devices.
